NEW ORLEANS (Sept. 29, 2026) – St. Augustine junior quarterback Jaelle Noble, who accounted for six touchdowns in a 42-32 victory over John Curtis Christian, headlines the latest group of Allstate Sugar Bowl Manning Award Futures.
Noble completed 20 of 29 passes for 293 yards and three touchdowns while rushing 18 times for 89 yards and three touchdowns. His performance earned him Player of the Week honors and highlights a group of four Louisiana high school quarterbacks recognized for their outstanding performances during Week 4 of the 2026 season.
Also earning Manning Award Futures recognition this week are Pearl River senior Romy Berel, Mandeville sophomore Krew Collura and Bonnabel quarterback Jayce Romain.
Berel completed 11 of 15 passes for 275 yards and five touchdowns, with one interception, in Pearl River's 43-18 victory over Pine.
Collura completed a standout performance in Mandeville's 37-13 win over Hammond, passing for 259 yards and four touchdowns. The sophomore continues to make an impact as one of the area's emerging young quarterbacks.
The recognition is called "Futures" because these high school stars are potential future candidates for the Manning Award, which the Allstate Sugar Bowl created in 2004 to honor the college football accomplishments of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning. The award recognizes the nation's top collegiate quarterback each year.
Since the Futures program began in 2020, the Sugar Bowl has recognized 137 quarterbacks from 59 different high schools.

Romy Berel — Pearl River: Berel completed 11 of 15 passes for 275 yards and five touchdowns with an interception and he rushed three times for 8 yards in a 43-18 victory over Pine.
Krew Collura —Mandeville: Collura passed for 259 yards and four touchdowns in a 37-13 win over Hammond.
Jaelle Noble —St. Augustine: Noble completed 20 of 29 for 293 yards and 3 touchdowns and rushed 18 times for 89 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 42-32 win over John Curtis Christian.
Jayce Romain —Bonnabel: Romain completed 16 of 22 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns and ran eight times for 50 yards and a third touchdown in a 32-21 win over East Jefferson.
