Will Clark - June 1982 Athlete of the Month

Clark, a recently graduated star baseball player from Jesuit High School, was selected as the Sugar Bowl Athlete of the Month for June of 1982. Clark, now playing for the Jesuit-based Odeco Drillers in American Legion baseball, hit .429 and led his district with 15 RBI and three home runs in June. He was a fourth-round pick of the Kansas City Royals in the recent draft, but will attend Mississippi State in the fall.
Runner-up for the June award was Gary Noto, winner of the New Orleans Golf Association championship.
