The mission of the Allstate Sugar Bowl is to sponsor and promote amateur sporting events which will foster revenue and spark economic growth in the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana. Through all of its year-round slate of events, the organization has generated over $2.5 billion of economic impact for the city and the state in the last decade alone.

CFB150 – As part of the 150th anniversary of the start of college football in 2019, the Allstate Sugar Bowl highlighted 150 Stars of the Sugar Bowl.


The Allstate Sugar Bowl Believes in Champions (2016, 2017, 2019, 2020)

We believe
In 2016, the Allstate Sugar Bowl posted a five-part series of features focusing on standout athletes from five different sports who went on to tremendous success following their Sugar Bowl appearances. This was followed by an additional four stories in the fall of 2017 and four more in early 2019. In 2020, the Sugar Bowl began a series of “Champions” stories focusing on alums of its annual football classic who proved themselves to be champions away from the gridiron.
