Avondale, LA (December 23, 2025) — Eighty-four top-ranked junior golfers from across the globe competed in the 2025 Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial, held on December 22-23. TPC Louisiana, home of the PGA TOUR's Zurich Classic of New Orleans, was the host facility for the event. Participants from sixteen states and Canadian provinces were put to the test with unseasonably hot conditions, lengthy fog delays and a challenging course.

Jade Neves of New Orleans is the 2025 Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial Champion in the Girls 13-18 Division. Neves entered the final found two-over par and shared the lead with Daniela Sitompul of McKinney, Texas. The second round brought ideal conditions, and the high school sophomore took advantage, shooting even par 72 to clinch the victory by five shots over Sitompul with Natalie Nobles of Navasota, Texas, and Gabrielle Kim of Irvine, Calif., finishing in a tie for third.

Neves, who finished third in the 2024 Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial, spoke about what taking home the win meant to her.

"It definitely feels really nice to get a win here, I play this course a lot, so it feels good. Winning in my home city means, it just feels really good. I'd like to thank Kelly Gibson and the Foundation for putting on a great tournament and thank my parents and coaches for always supporting me."

Ainslie Stanford III of Edmond, Okla., is the 2025 Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial Champion in the Boys 13-18 Division. After a one-under par 71 in Round 1, Stanford entered the final round two strokes behind first-round leader and Georgia Tech golf commit Noah Chauvin of Broussard, La. The high school sophomore rode a bogey-free 5-under par 67 to erase the deficit and claim the 15th Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial Championship by one shot over Chauvin, with Barron Vollmer of Gulf Shores, Ala., finishing third.

Stanford, who finished second in the 2024 Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial, commented on what it felt like getting the come-from-behind win.

"Finishing second last year was a tough moment for me, and I was determined to come back and get the job done this year. It means a lot, it's a big win obviously versus a very strong field, and it was really fun all day battling with Noah (Chauvin). It means a lot to me to come back after last year and get the job done."

Second place in the Girls 13-18 Division went to Daniela Sitompul of McKinney, Texas, with third place being shared by Natalie Nobles of Navasota, Texas, and Gabrielle Kim of Irvine, Calif.

Second place in the Boys 13-18 Division went to Noah Chauvin of Broussard, La., with third place going to Barron Vollmer of Gulf Shores, Ala.

Dottie Reese, President of the Sugar Bowl Committee was on site to watch the tournament, she commented on how it felt to support the Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial.

"It was an exciting opportunity to be out here today to support the youth and this Championship tournament. It was so impressive, we have representation from 16 states across this country, and they're all champions. We are so honored to be a sponsor of this exciting event."

The Allstate Sugar Bowl is the presenting sponsor of the 36-hole event. The 92nd Annual Allstate Sugar Bowl Football Classic is scheduled to be played on Thursday, January 1st at 7:00PM CST, as No. 3 Georgia and No. 6 Ole Miss face off in Caesars Superdome with the winner advancing to the College Football Playoff Semifinals at the Fiesta Bowl on Thursday, January 8th. The Allstate Sugar Bowl has established itself as one of the premier college football bowl games, having hosted 29 national champions, 107 Hall of Fame players, 52 Hall of Fame coaches and 21 Heisman Trophy winners in its 91-year history. In addition to football, the Sugar Bowl Committee annually invests over $1 million into the community through the hosting and sponsorship of sporting events, awards, scholarships and clinics. Through these efforts, the organization supports and honors thousands of student-athletes each year, while injecting over $2.5 billion into the local economy in the last decade.

The golf tournament is named in honor of Tommy Moore, who was the most accomplished junior golfer to ever emerge from the New Orleans area. In 1980, Tommy was ranked #1 in the Golf Digest Junior World Rankings and went on to have a decorated collegiate career at Oklahoma State University where he was an All-American, National Champion, and Academic All-American. After playing on the PGA TOUR for three seasons, Tommy Moore's life was cut short at the young age of 35 due to a rare blood disease. In his memory, the Kelly Gibson Foundation is proud to partner with the Allstate Sugar Bowl to host a national event that recognizes the impact Tommy made on junior golf and the New Orleans community. This is the 15th year that the Kelly Gibson Foundation has produced the Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial.

The Kelly Gibson Foundation was founded as Feed the Relief, Inc. by Kelly and Elizabeth Gibson in September of 2005 with the idea of providing necessary support for the frontline first responders to Hurricane Katrina. In 2010, Feed the Relief, a 501(c)3 corporation, changed its name to the Kelly Gibson Foundation, and expanded its scope to enrich the lives of children through athletics.
