Bowl Provides Key “Know Before You Go” Information to Visitors

NEW ORLEANS (December 22, 2025) – In an effort to ensure a seamless game day experience for fans attending the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl, the Sugar Bowl has put together a list of key items for fans to know before they go.

Mobile Tickets
All ticketing for the Allstate Sugar Bowl is mobile so you will need your phone to get into the game. Fans are reminded to bring their cell phone and to be sure it's charged as your tickets must be downloaded to a mobile device for entry to the Caesars Superdome. There will not be any printed ticket options. Guests can log into their account via the Sugar Bowl Mobile App to access their order and present the ticket at the gates. Screenshots will not work. Mobile ticketing has helped improve the fan experience at the Caesars Superdome by making stadium entry quick and easy. The ability to manage your tickets from your smartphone will provide a more convenient and safer experience, while drastically prohibiting the risk of counterfeit tickets. Clear Bag Policy
Fans are encouraged NOT to bring any type of bags. The only bags allowed in the Superdome are clear bags that do not exceed 12 inches by six inches by 12 inches or small clutch bags (no bigger than the palm of your hand).
 

 
Cashless Operation
Please keep in mind that the Caesars Superdome is a cashless operation, including all concessions, merchandise, and parking. Guest Services locations at Gate B Plaza, Gate H Loge and Section 515 can handle a conversion of cash to a Visa gift card if needed.
 
NewOrleans.com Allstate Sugar Bowl Tailgate Town
NewOrleans.com Allstate Sugar Bowl Tailgate Town in Champions Square opens at 3 p.m. Fans must have a game ticket to access this event; tickets will be scanned upon entry. Once inside Tailgate Town, fans will be unable to leave the event or enter the Superdome until 5 p.m., which is when Superdome gates open to fans.
 
Gates Open
Superdome gates open to fans at 5:00 p.m. Once those gates are open, fans should proceed to the gate listed on their mobile ticket.
 
Parking
Parking in the Superdome garages for the Allstate Sugar Bowl is available for $60 on a first come, first served basis. Credit and debit cards are accepted, no cash. The garages will open at 2 p.m. Additional pre-paid parking for the Allstate Sugar Bowl in other area lots is available via Park Whiz. The height limit for all garages is 6'6. Law enforcement personnel may conduct occasional inspections of vehicles parking near the stadium as they arrive. 
 
Rideshare
For those choosing rideshare options such as Uber and Lyft, the rideshare zone location for drop-off and pick-up at the Superdome is Duncan Plaza.
 
Pregame Pageantry
Fans are encouraged to be in their seats early for performances by both school bands, the national anthem by a legendary New Orleans artist, and a special Team Entrance Light Show presented by Modelo. 
 
Free Cans for Fans!
After the game, outside the Caesars Superdome, the Dr Pepper Street Team will provide free, ice-cold cans of Dr Pepper Zero Sugar to fans. Dr Pepper Zero Sugar is a proud partner of the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year's Parade
The official Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year's Parade presented by Louisiana Tourism, a Mardi Gras-style parade with floats, bands and other participants, entertains fans of all ages prior to the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The parade, which is scheduled for the afternoon of December 31, 2025 (scheduled for a 2 p.m. start), will start at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and Decatur Street. It will travel through the French Quarter up Decatur Street along the Mississippi River, passing iconic landmarks such as The Old US Mint, the French Market, Cafe du Monde and Jackson Square. The Parade will wrap up at Canal Street.
 
Allstate Sugar Bowl Fest
Keep the celebration going after the official Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year's Parade with the Sugar Bowl Fest after-party on the Audubon Aquarium Plaza (1 Canal St, New Orleans, see below map for entry details). The family-friendly Allstate Sugar Bowl Fest will feature live music, a ferris wheel, New Orleans style food and beverages for purchase, an official Sugar Bowl merchandise shop, and much more! The party will begin after the parade ends (gates open at 3 p.m.). Don't wait as access to this exclusive event is limited!
