NEW ORLEANS (Nov. 4, 2026) – The Allstate Sugar Bowl will have a busy month of November, hosting and supporting nine events in New Orleans and around the state of Louisiana that showcase a variety of sports and provide opportunities for athletes of all ages to compete.
The November schedule features championship swimming, tennis, volleyball and cross country competitions, along with high school and junior golf events, sailing and a special celebration honoring the Allstate Sugar Bowl New Orleans Teacher Community.
The month gets underway Nov. 6-7 with the Allstate Sugar Bowl Metro Swimming Championships, followed by the Allstate Sugar Bowl Tennis Classic, Nov. 7-9.
The Sugar Bowl will then partner with the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) to host the Sugar Bowl LHSAA Volleyball Championships, Nov. 12-14, at the Cajundome in Lafayette, La.
The New Orleans Excellence in Teaching Awards (NOETA) Gala will take place on Nov. 14. The NOETA Gala is a program within the Allstate Sugar Bowl Teacher Community, which exists to support New Orleans area educators in a variety of ways. NOETA celebrates the teachers of the year from across all NOLA Public Schools —the top 3% of educators in our city. Each of these 90+ teachers receives a $1000 classroom grant and an evening of top-notch hospitality and entertainment in their honor.
The second half of the month will feature several additional championship events, beginning with the Sugar Bowl LHSAA Cross Country Championships, Nov. 16-17, at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La., and the Sugar Bowl LHSAA Swimming Championships, Nov. 18-21, in Sulphur, La.
The Allstate Sugar Bowl Great Oaks High School Regatta and Allstate Sugar Bowl Fall Series (Junior Golf) will both take place Nov. 21-22, providing competitive opportunities for high school sailors and young golfers. The month's schedule concludes with the Allstate Sugar Bowl Optimist Mid-Winter Regatta, Nov. 26-28.
Through its longstanding commitment to amateur athletics, the Allstate Sugar Bowl continues to provide competitive opportunities for student-athletes, support Louisiana's educational and athletic communities, and bring sporting events to the Greater New Orleans area.
