NEW ORLEANS – The Allstate Sugar Bowl is partnering with ID.me, the market-leading secure digital identity wallet, to ensure tickets for future Allstate Sugar Bowls are sold to verified fans.

The Sugar Bowl is launching this initiative with ID.me to integrate secure identity verification into the event-ticketing platform. ID.me works across industries to streamline login, remove friction, and improve the user experience while stopping fraud. ID.me's secure platform will protect against bot purchases and other fraudulent practices while providing a seamless user experience. By verifying their identity with ID.me, college football fans will get the first chance to buy tickets for future Sugar Bowl events, ensuring the Caesars Superdome is full of true fans.

"It's important to the Sugar Bowl that we keep pace with changing technology to reduce fraud and to prioritize true college football fans," said Jeff Hundley, the chief executive officer of the Allstate Sugar Bowl. "ID.me's seamless verification process will ensure that tickets for our event are sold to fans who genuinely intend to attend the events – and it will limit bot purchases and other practices which affect the integrity of our ticket sales process."

"ID.me is excited to work with the Allstate Sugar Bowl to prevent ticket fraud while improving the ticketing experience for college football fans," said Taylor Liggett, chief growth officer for ID.me. "For too long, fraudulent ticket purchases have led to higher prices and reduced access for fans. Together, we will provide true fans with greater access to Sugar Bowl tickets and a better experience."
