Miller, the ace of the Brother Martin pitching staff, was selected as the Sugar Bowl Athlete of the Month for May of 1996. Miller led the Crusaders to the Class 5A baseball championship, allowing one run in three games in the tournament. In May, he pitched 23 innings and had 32 strikeouts and a 0.39 ERA. He has signed to play collegiately at UNO.
