Harris, a sophomore star for the Tulane women's track and field team, was named the Sugar Bowl Athlete of the Month for May of 1992. Harris was named the Outstanding Women's Performer at the Metro Conference Championship after winning three events and placing in seven to score 42 of the Lady Wave's 93.5 points.
