NEW NEW NEW ORLEANS (Aug. 31, 2026) – A limited number of tickets for the 2027 CFP Playoff Semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. CT. Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster.

The game is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 15, at 6:30 p.m. CT at Caesars Superdome and will be televised nationally on ESPN and ABC.

"Hosting a CFP Semifinal is a tremendous opportunity for the Allstate Sugar Bowl and New Orleans," Allstate Sugar Bowl CEO Jeff Hundley said. "On Jan. 15, two of the best teams in the country will come to the Superdome with a trip to the CFP National Championship on the line. Games of this magnitude are what the Sugar Bowl Committee was built to host, and we're excited to once again showcase the best of New Orleans and Louisiana on one of college football's biggest stages."

This season marks the third year of the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff (CFP). The 93rd annual Allstate Sugar Bowl will serve as a CFP Semifinal for the fourth time in the bowl's history and for the first time in the 12-team playoff era. The Sugar Bowl most recently hosted a national semifinal in 2024, when No. 2 Washington defeated No. 3 Texas, 37-31.

The 12-team playoff field will include the five highest-ranked conference champions, along with the next seven highest-ranked teams. Notre Dame will be eligible for selection if it finishes among the top 12 teams in the final CFP rankings.

The 2026-27 CFP bracket will be announced by the CFP Selection Committee on Sunday, Dec. 6, on ESPN.

A limited number of premium ticket packages are also available. Packages include four game tickets in the Plaza or Loge end zone, a stadium credit for gameday merchandise and concessions, four tickets to Sugar Bowl Fest and a donation to the Extra Yard for Teachers Enrichment Fund.

Allstate Sugar Bowl festivities will also include the Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year's Parade and the Allstate Sugar Bowl Tailgate Town.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year's Parade, a Mardi Gras-style celebration featuring floats, bands and other participants, will roll through the French Quarter on the afternoon of Jan. 14.

Following the parade, fans can attend the Fest at the Audubon Aquarium Plaza, a post-parade party featuring a Ferris wheel, food trucks and live music.

Tailgate Town, located in Champions Square adjacent to Caesars Superdome, is the official pregame festival of the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl has established itself as one of college football's premier bowl games, having hosted 29 national champions, 114 Hall of Fame players, 55 Hall of Fame coaches and 21 Heisman Trophy winners in its 92-year history.

The 93rd Allstate Sugar Bowl Football Classic will serve as a College Football Playoff Semifinal this season and will host a quarterfinal next season, along with the 2028 national championship game.
