The Southeastern Conference leads the way with nine Manning Award winners: Jayden Daniels, Stetson Bennett, Bryce Young, Joe Burrow, Mac Jones, Johnny Manziel, Cam Newton, JaMarcus Russell and Tim Tebow. The Big 12 Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference have each produced five winners. Big 12 honorees include Kyler Murray, Baker Mayfield, Vince Young, Colt McCoy and Robert Griffin III, while the ACC winners are Cam Ward, Deshaun Watson (twice), Matt Ryan and Jameis Winston.

All Manning Award winners follow in the footsteps of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning. The three combined for more than 25,000 passing yards and 201 touchdowns in college while playing in 10 bowl games and earning four bowl MVP awards. Archie was the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft, while Peyton and Eli were each selected No. 1 overall.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl has established itself as one of college football's premier bowl games, having hosted 29 national champions, 114 Hall of Fame players, 55 Hall of Fame coaches and 21 Heisman Trophy winners during its 92-year history.

The 93rd Allstate Sugar Bowl Football Classic, serving as a College Football Playoff Semifinal, is scheduled for Jan. 15, 2027, in New Orleans. Beyond football, the Sugar Bowl Committee annually invests more than $1 million in the community through sporting events, awards, scholarships and clinics.
