There will not be any hard copies of media materials – all items such as media guides, bowl guides and record books will only be available online. Quotes and game-week notes will only be available online at www.AllstateSugarBowl.org.
Limited “grab-and-go” style meals will be available for working media at designated times in the media hotel. There will NOT be a media party.

We will not fax/email individual information to out-of-town media outlets. Out-of-town media may obtain information from our website.
There will be a free shuttle service from the media hotel to the game. Hotel parking in New Orleans tends to be expensive; a rental car should not be necessary.
There will not be any practice availabilities with the teams at this year’s Sugar Bowl.
Media Entrance/Will Call
All media must enter the Superdome through the Media Entrance located at Gate A Ground (Poydras Street side of Superdome). The media entrance will open at 4 p.m. There will NOT be a media will call for credential pickup at the Superdome. Credentialed media must pick up their credentials at the Marriott at the Convention Center by 4 p.m. on January 1.
There is no media parking at the Superdome. Members of the media are encouraged to take the Media Shuttle to and from the Superdome before and after the game.
Media without field access will enter the Superdome at Gate A Ground and proceed up the escalators. The non-field photo work room is located on the mezzanine level at the top of the first escalator. Media with press box access should take the escalator to Level 1 and then proceed to Elevators 7 or 8 (counter clockwise on concourse) to access the press box (Level 7). Once you enter the press box, you must remain there through the game.
A pre-game boxed meal will be served in the press box and in the photographer work rooms starting at 4:30 p.m.
The main press box in the Superdome is located at the top level. Media members can use Elevator 7 or 8 to get to the press box (take to level 7). In addition, the press box is located in the path of the air conditioning vents for the Superdome – dress warmly.

Post-Game Cooling Off Periods
The following guidelines have been established by the College Football Playoff to be followed for the media events of the Allstate Sugar Bowl:
There will be a 10-minute cooling off period for the runner-up team before the head coach and two players appear at the virtual post game press conferences. The winning team will be entitled to a 20-minute cooling off period. The winning team’s cooling off period will begin after the conclusion of the trophy presentation.
Postgame Virtual Interviews
All postgame interviews will be conducted via Zoom. There will be four Zoom options for media covering the game:
Zoom Room 1: Runner-Up Head Coach
Zoom Room 2: Runner-Up Players
Zoom Room 3: Winning Head Coach
Zoom Room 4: Winning Team Players
The virtual press conferences will begin as soon as the teams are ready – this means that all four rooms could be active at the same time. With the Sugar Bowl expected to end after 11 p.m., we need to make as many interview opportunities available as quickly as possible. Please plan accordingly.
A stenography service will provide a full transcript of both head coaches from their postgame press conferences – the fastest way you will receive this is in your email.
The press box will remain open for two hours following the end of the game.
