With the University of Georgia planning to recognize its national championship team from the 1980 season this Saturday, the Allstate Sugar Bowl is turning back the clock to 1981 and the classic Sugar Bowl contest which clinched that national title for the Bulldogs. In that memorable game, 77,896 fans, including President Jimmy Carter, watched a young freshman back by the name of Herschel Walker score a pair of touchdowns  to lead undefeated Georgia to a 17-10 win over Notre Dame.
