Allstate Sugar Bowl LHSAA Powerlifting Championships

The Allstate Sugar Bowl, one of the premier college football bowl games in the country, took on title sponsorship of the championships held by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) beginning with the 2014-15 academic year. Since the partnership between two of the oldest and most prominent amateur athletic organizations in the state was established, the Sugar Bowl has had the opportunity to recognize 504 team champions from 157 schools.

Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Scholarships
Through its sponsorship of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA), the Allstate Sugar Bowl awards ten $1,500 scholarships on an annual basis to student-athletes who have earned at least a 3.5 GPA and at least a 24 ACT score. In the four years of the partnership between the Allstate Sugar Bowl and the LHSAA, $60,000 in scholarship money has been awarded.
Even before taking on title sponsorship of all LHSAA championship events, the Allstate Sugar Bowl was involved in the sponsorship of many state championship events in the past, including baseball, football, soccer, swimming and tennis. The Bowl sponsored the LHSAA Football Championships from 2000-2005.
