Auburn University, from the Southeastern Conference, and the University of Oklahoma, from the Big 12 Conference, will be featured in the 83rd annual Allstate Sugar Bowl on Monday, January 2, 2017, in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Allstate® Fan Fest – FREE!

The Allstate® Fan Fest is back for its 11th year to once again serve as the backdrop for pre-game events and celebrations leading up to the 2017 Allstate® Sugar Bowl®. As college football fans descend on New Orleans to see a premiere college football bowl games, the Crescent City will come alive with a mix of interactive activities, highlighted by free New Year’s Eve concerts featuring Panic! at the Disco and Jason Derulo.

Saturday, December 31: 12 p.m.-12 a.m.
Sunday, January 1: 12-6 p.m.

Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade

The Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade, a Mardi Gras-style parade with floats, bands and other participants, will entertain fans young and old prior to the 2017 Allstate Sugar Bowl between Auburn and Oklahoma. The parade begins at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and Decatur Street at 2:30 p.m. CT (NOTE: UPDATED START TIME!). It will travel through the French Quarter up Decatur Street along the Mississippi River, passing iconic landmakrs such as The Old US Mint, the French Market, Cafe du Monde and Jackson Square. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2017

As an added bonus this year, “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2017” continues its expansion of the iconic annual New Year’s Eve tradition with coverage from New Orleans in its first-ever Central Time Zone countdown. The live segments will include exclusive performances from the Allstate® Fan Fest, where New Orleans locals and tourists gather annually to celebrate the New Year and usher in the annual Allstate® Sugar Bowl®.

The performers for Allstate® Fan Fest during the “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2017” show will be Panic! at the Disco and Jason Derullo.

Team Pep Rallies

Official pep rallies for the two participating teams in this year’s Allstate Sugar Bowl will be held as part of Allstate® Fan Fest on Sunday, January 1.

January 1, 2:30 p.m. – Oklahoma Pep Rally
January 1, 4:30 p.m. – Auburn Pep Rally

Allstate Sugar Bowl Fan Jam

Get to the Dome early for a first-rate tailgate party to be held at Champions Square. The party begins three hours before kickoff and lasts until the game begins. Fan Jam features food, interactive games and entertainment, including special appearances by both schools’ bands and cheerleading squads. Free for fans of all ages. Team pep rallies will also be held at Fan Jam at 5:10 and 5:25 p.m.

Game Day Parking

Superdome Garages will open for public parking for $25.00 per car, starting at 2:30 p.m. No advance reservations. Law enforcement personnel may conduct occasional inspections of vehicles parking near the stadium as they arrive.

Gates Open

Gates open to the general public at 5:30 p.m.
