Allstate® Fan Fest

The Allstate® Fan Fest returned for its 13th year to serve as the backdrop for pre-game events and celebrations leading up to the 2019 Allstate® Sugar Bowl®. As college football fans descended on New Orleans to see a premiere college football bowl games, the Crescent City came alive with a mix of interactive activities, highlighted by free New Year’s Eve performances.

Sunday, December 30

  • Fan Fest open from Noon – 6 p.m.

Florida Georgia Line played a FREE show on New Year’s Eve!

Monday, December 31

  • Fan Fest open from Noon – Midnight
  • New Year’s Eve Mardi Gras Parade – 1 p.m.
  • Team Pep Rallies – TBA
  • Performances by national performing artists!

Allstate® Fan Fest will also feature football-themed activities, including an opportunity to kick a field goal into the iconic Allstate “Good Hands®” Field Goal Net, as well as high-energy pep rallies featuring marching bands, mascots and cheerleaders from the participating schools. In addition, the Allstate Combine will give fans an opportunity to participate in football-related drills leading up to the big game.

In addition to celebrating the events that take place on the field, Allstate will help shine a spotlight on the good deeds that take place off the field. Members of the 2019 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®, one of the most prestigious community service awards in college sports, will be recognized during halftime of the 2020 Allstate® Sugar Bowl®.  For the 12th year, Allstate and members of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® will give back to the local community by hosting a special youth football clinic.

The Allstate® Fan Fest is free to the public and open from Noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, and Noon to 6 p.m. on Monday, December 31, it will take you straight through the New Year’s Eve celebrations. Fan Fest is located at in the Jax Brewery parking lot off Decatur Street (500 Decatur Street).


Team Pep Rallies – Monday, December 31

Both schools participating in the 85th annual Allstate Sugar Bowl will hold official pep rallies as part of Allstate Fan Fest. Pep rally times are TBD.


Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2019

Once again, fans will have the opportunity to be a part of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2019.” Two years ago, the iconic annual New Year’s Eve tradition expanded with coverage from New Orleans, Louisiana, in its first-ever Central Time Zone countdown. This year’s live segments will once again include exclusive performances by national recording artists from the Allstate® Fan Fest, where New Orleans locals and tourists gather annually to celebrate the New Year and usher in the annual Allstate® Sugar Bowl®.

The headliners for the 2018-19 event were Florida Georgia Line and Maren Morris.

Previous headliners for the Allstate® Fan Fest include Florida Georgia Line, Maren Morris, Usher, Imagine Dragons, Panic! at the Disco, Jason Derulo, Train, Fitz and the Tantrums, O.A.R, FUN., Huey Lewis & the News, Cee-Lo Green, Kelly Clarkson, the Neville Brothers, Walk the Moon and New Orleans-own Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. Other past performers include Blues Traveler, Darius Rucker, Eddie Money, Gin Blossoms, Lady Antebellum and Lifehouse.
