New Orleans will come alive with school spirit when college football fans descend on the city for the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Allstate® Sugar Bowl®. To celebrate this year's iconic bowl game, the Allstate Fan Fest will return to the Crescent City for the ninth year to entertain college football fans and local residents with a variety of fun, interactive activities and concert performances.

Located in the heart of the French Quarter in the Jax Brewery parking lot off Decatur Street (418 North Peters Street), Allstate Fan Fest is free to the public between the hours of 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, and Thursday, December 31. The event is sure to excite fans and build anticipation for one of the premier events in college football with school pep rallies, football-themed activities and free musical performances by some of today's most celebrated bands.
Fans of the participating Allstate® Sugar Bowl® teams can show off their school spirit during high energy pep rallies featuring marching bands, mascots and cheerleaders for the participating teams the day before the game.
Members of the 2015 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®, one of the most prestigious off-the-field honors in college sports, will be recognized during a special introduction on the Allstate Fan Fest main stage and at halftime of the Allstate® Sugar Bowl® on January 1, 2016. For the eighth consecutive year, the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® will make a positive impact on the New Orleans community by hosting a special football clinic for area youth.
Allstate Fan Fest on Wednesday, December 30 will be highlighted by a prominent recording artist performing a free show at 6 p.m. The Thursday event will be highlighted by team pep rallies.
Last year's Allstate Fan Fest was headlined by three-time Grammy Award-winning rock sensation Train (pictured right) on Dec. 31, while Billboard-topping indie pop band Fitz and the Tantrums also performed.
Previous headliners included Imagine Dragons, O.A.R, FUN., Huey Lewis & the News, Cee-Lo Green, Kelly Clarkson, the Neville Brothers and New Orleans-own Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. Other past performers include Blues Traveler, Darius Rucker, Eddie Money, Gin Blossoms, Lady Antebellum and Lifehouse.
