30th Annual Sugar Bowl Classic ~ January 1, 1964
#8 Alabama 12 (Final: 9-2-0)
#7 Ole Miss 7 (Final: 7-1-2)

Alabama's Tim Davis only clocked two minutes of play, but he kicked a record four field goals to account for all the Tide's points in a 12-7 upset of Ole Miss.

Davis hit from 31, 46, 22 and 48 yards out (barely missing a 50-yarder) as Bama took advantage of six lost Ole Miss fumbles and three interceptions.

The game was played between two snow banks following New Orleans' biggest snow storm of  the century.

Ole Miss didn't cross midfield against the Bama defense until the fourth period, scoring once and missing a chance to  take the lead later in the final period.
