By halftime it was 24-0 on a Les Kelly one-yard run, a 14-yard skitter by Stabler, and a seven-yard burst by Wayne Trimbel, plus Steve Davis’ field goal for three points. Davis hit again in the third period to make it 27-0 before Dick Davis scored on a 15-yard pass from Bob Churchich for the Huskers early in the fourth period.
