Allstate Sugar Bowl Partners With Louisiana Tailgate and Barbecue Festival

The Allstate Sugar Bowl will be a sponsor of the Louisiana Tailgate and Barbecue Festival, an event scheduled from Friday, Aug. 21 through Sunday, Aug. 23 at the Morial Convention Center, New Orleans Hall J and the adjacent festival grounds.

The event opens at 6 p.m. on Friday with the "Friday Night Live High School Festival" which includes a performance by popular New Orleans band Bag of Donuts. Admission to the Friday events is $15 (includes barbecue plate, drink and concert) with proceeds benefiting the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.

Saturday and Sunday activities run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a variety of contests and promotions. Weekend admission is $10 per day or $15 for the weekend (children 12 and under attend free). The Allstate College Football Tour will be featured and will include photo opportunities with the Allstate Sugar Bowl trophy as well as giveaways and contests.
