LSA State Tournaments Sponsored by Allstate Sugar Bowl

The Louisiana Soccer Association state championship events begin April 17th and continue through the weekend of June 5th. The Sugar Bowl Committee sponsors the Allstate Sugar Bowl State Cup Division I championship and is also the presenting sponsor of the Louisiana State Cup premier level championship.
Tournaments include boys and girls teams ranging in age from 11 to 19. Venues for the event are spread across the state of Louisiana with host cities including Alexandria, Lafayette, Mandeville, Metairie, Monroe and Shreveport. In addition to the Division I championship and the Louisiana State Cup, the Louisiana Soccer Association has been chosen to host the U.S. Youth Soccer Region II (Southeast U.S. and east Texas) Championship Games for 2010. This competition will be held in Baton Rouge the last week of June and the first week of July. It is a prestigious honor to be awarded this event which features state championship teams, both boys and girls premier level ages 14-19, from the southern regions of the U.S. The eventual champion from each of the four regions in each age group continues play at the National Final Four Tournament.
